Bucks legend Giannis Antetokounmpo celebrated his NBA Championship with a trip to Chick-fil-A.The MVP has been documenting the hours since the Bucks beat the Suns on Instagram.Giannis first posted a photo of the Larry O’Brien NBA Championship Trophy and the NBA Finals MVP Trophy on his kitchen counter with his older brother Thanasis Antetokounmpo eating nearby.The caption read “Welcome to the Antetokounmpo home.”He then posted another photo of the two trophies in bed with the caption “Goodnight from us.”We’re not sure if Giannis got any sleep.He decided he needed Chick-fil-A to start his Wednesday.”I can’t go to bed. I can’t sleep. I’m hungry. I was so dedicated to the game,” Giannis said.He had more than 160,000 viewers watching his Instagram Live video from the fast food drive-thru line.Giannis visited the location near North 124th Street and West Capitol Drive in Brookfield.He ordered a 50-piece chicken nugget meal and a half lemonade, half Sprite.Giannis’s partner, Mariah Riddlesprigger, was driving his Mercedes SUV.He held the Larry O’Brien NBA Championship Trophy.Fans began to recognize the NBA star after he placed his order.Several fans went to his SUV and chanted “Bucks in 6!”Others took selfies with Giannis.”This is why I love Milwaukee,” he said on Instagram Live.Chick-fil-A workers also got in on the action.Giannis joked that he wanted to get free Chick-fil-A for life.The Pewaukee location tweeted at Giannis and told him they could make it happen.At one point, the swarm of fans became too much and Giannis and Mariah drove off without receiving their order.WISN 12’s Stephanie Sutton got to Chick-fil-A as the couple returned to get their food.A store manager brought the bag out.Sutton was able to ask Giannis about getting Chick-fil-A after his NBA victory.
